Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
- explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
- mention the advantages (1–2) of the two places of living;
- mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two places of living;
- express your opinion on the subject of the project – which place of living you prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences).

Hello Liza, I’ve found two photos for our project and I’d like to discuss them with you.
In the first picture there are two people posing for the camera in front of a hut. The second picture depicts a family walking outdoors. Both photos are relevant for our project because they both show different places where people live. The key difference is that the first picture demonstrates living in a village, while in the second photo there is an example of living in a big city.
I believe that the two places of living presented in the pictures have their advantages and disadvantages. One of the main benefits of living in a big city is constant access to all the necessary facilities and numerous entertainment options. However, prolonged fast pace of city life can cause health problems, such as depression and apathy. While living in the countryside people are surrounded by nature and are not exposed to exhaust fumes and other pollution typical of the city, but life in a small settlement is boring, monotonous and offers no career opportunities, especially for the younger generation.
Personally, I prefer to live in a big city because of the numerous opportunities and amenities it offers. Big cities are often vibrant and culturally diverse, providing a wide range of entertainment, dining, and cultural experiences.
