- explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
- mention the advantages (1–2) of the two ways of protecting the environment;
- mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two ways of protecting the environment;
- express your opinion on the subject of the project – which way of protecting the environment you prefer and why.

Hello Dinara, I’ve found two photos for our project and I’d like to discuss them with you.
In the first picture there are several people collecting trash in a park. The second picture depicts a little girl sorting garbage outdoors. Both photos are relevant for our project because they both show different ways of protecting the environment. The key difference is that the first picture demonstrates members of a special volunteer organisation, while in the second photo the girl isn't a volunteer.
I believe that the two ways of protecting the environment presented in the pictures have their advantages and disadvantages. Cleaning street litter contributes to maintaining cleanliness, improving the appearance of the surroundings, and creating a pleasant atmosphere for residents and visitors. However, it requires significant resources in terms of manpower, equipment, and time. As for sorting garbage, it enables materials to be recycled and reused, reducing the negative impact on the environment and decreasing the consumption of natural resources, but it requires education and public awareness as waste sorting relies on active participation and cooperation from the public.
Personally, I prefer participating in garbage collection because sorting and recycling are not yet developed in our city.
