Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project «Capturing Nature». You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
- explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
- mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of images of nature;
- mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of images of nature;
- express your opinion on the subject of the project – which of these types of pictures of nature you'd prefer to have and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences).

Hello Steve, I’ve found two photos for our project and I’d like to discuss them with you.
In the first picture there is a man painting a landscape of nature outside. The second photo depicts a young woman taking photo of an astonishing view somewhere in the mountains. Both photos are relevant for our project because they both show different types of images of nature. The key difference is that in the first picture there is an example of a picture of nature drawn by a person, while in the second photo the image is electronic on the smartphone.
I believe that the two types of images of nature presented in the pictures have their advantages and disadvantages. As for electronic images of nature, it is easy to store them on your smartphone or computer and share them with other people, but if your gadgets break down, you risk losing all your great photos of nature. The biggest advantage of painted images is that they are original and unique. However, painted images may not always accurately convey the details.
Personally, I would prefer to have a painted image of nature because it holds a unique artistic charm and captures the essence of the subject in a way that digital or printed images often cannot replicate.
That’s all I wanted to say.
