Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
- explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
- mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of pets;
- mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of pets;
- express your opinion on the subject of the project – which type of family pets you'd prefer to have and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences).

Hello Dasha, I’ve found two photos for our project and I’d like to discuss them with you.
Two different types of family pets are shown to support the opposite points of view concerning the subject of the project by demonstrating a parrot and a fish. In the first picture there are a child and his mother looking at their parrot at home. The second picture depicts a girl who is watching her fish at home too. The key difference is that in the first picture there is a vivid example of an active pet that can interact with its owners, while the second picture shows a quiet pet.
I believe that the two types of family pets presented in the pictures have their advantages and disadvantages. As for keeping a parrot as pets, its biggest advantage is that parrots are highly intelligent birds and are known for their ability to mimic human speech and learn tricks. They can provide excellent companionship and engage in fun interactions with their owners. However, parrots can be extremely noisy. They are known for their loud screeching calls, especially when they are bored or seeking attention. This can be a source of annoyance for both the owner and neighbours. The advantage of keeping fish as pets is that fish are easy to care for, as they don't need walks or active play, but people can get bored with them quickly.
Personally, I would prefer to keep a parrot as a pet because it can be trained to perform tricks and provides endless hours of amusement.
