Summer holidays are always a great joy for all adolescents. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to explore how Zetland teenagers spend their summer holidays. As part of my project, I have found a table with some data on the subject, which I am going to analyse.
As can be seen from the table, 38% of the respondents cite staying at home as the most popular way to spend summer holidays among young people in Zetland. The next activity is visiting relatives. It comes in second place with 27%. Going to a youth summer camp, mentioned by a small minority of teenage boys and girls (3%), is the least common thing that adolescents do during their summer holidays.
The table also shows that visiting relatives, which is in second position with 27%, is almost twice as popular as going to the mountains. This is obvious because in general young people are not prone to risky activities and prefer quiet time with relatives.
One problem that may arise during summer holidays is that people can get injured while doing popular summer activities such as riding a bike, kayaking or playing sports games. The best way to solve this problem is to follow the safety rules and use special protective equipment.
In conclusion, I am sure that playing volleyball is the best way to spend my summer holidays holidays, because I am fond of sports. Besides, I would like to improve my coordination and teamwork, and have fun under the sun.
